Corteva Agriscience has announced the upcoming U.S. launch of Forcivo fungicide, a new broad-spectrum crop protection product designed to defend corn, soybeans, and other major row crops against destructive foliar diseases. Currently awaiting final registration approval from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Forcivo features a powerful triple-active formulation that includes flutriafol, azoxystrobin, and fluindapyr—three proven ingredients known for their effectiveness in disease control and resistance management.
Corteva Agriscience has revealed plans to introduce its latest innovation, Forcivo fungicide, to U.S. growers, offering a broad-spectrum solution for managing foliar diseases in corn, soybeans, and other key row crops. The product is currently pending final registration approval from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and is expected to be available for the 2026 growing season.
Forcivo features a robust triple-active formulation, combining flutriafol, azoxystrobin, and fluindapyr. This multi-mode approach delivers both preventive and curative action against a wide array of damaging diseases—including tar spot, southern rust, and frogeye leaf spot in corn and soybeans. The redundancy in modes of action helps sustain effectiveness even if resistance begins to develop against one of the ingredients.
In addition to corn and soybeans, Forcivo is positioned as a versatile disease management tool for wheat, barley, sorghum, and triticale. Its broad-spectrum efficacy provides consistent control over recurring fungal pathogens that can persist and spread across growing seasons. The fungicide is designed to offer farmers a long-term solution to mitigate disease pressure and reduce seasonal crop losses.
Beyond disease suppression, Forcivo also delivers plant health benefits that enhance crop performance and yield potential. Its residual activity extends up to 30 days, offering prolonged protection during critical late-season growth stages. This helps reduce yield drag from late-developing diseases and protects return on investment through to harvest.
Mike Eiberger, U.S. Marketing Leader at Corteva, underscored the product’s value in both disease resistance management and on-farm profitability. He noted that Forcivo’s low application rate of just 7 to 9 fluid ounces per acre adds convenience, making it easy to handle, mix, and apply.
To support adoption, Corteva will offer Forcivo through its TruChoice offer. This program enables growers to bundle the new fungicide with other Corteva crop protection products, nitrogen stabilizers, and Pioneer® brand seeds—unlocking upfront savings and flexible financing via online prepayment or participating retailers.
Once approved, Forcivo will become a core component of Corteva’s 2026 disease management offerings in the U.S., helping farmers stay ahead of resistance, protect yields, and drive productivity with confidence.
