Namaste India launches deliciously creamy fresh milk in Bihar

Plans Rs 350 Crore phase-wise investment to build a strong local dairy ecosystem

Namaste India, one of India’s fastest-growing dairy brands and part of the RSPL Group, today announced the launch of its deliciously creamy fresh milk in Bihar, marking a major expansion into Eastern India. The entry is backed by a planned phase-wise investment of Rs 350 crore, aimed at delivering fresh, high-quality milk to households across the state through a locally rooted, large-scale dairy ecosystem.

As part of its Bihar portfolio, Namaste India will introduce a range of fresh milk variants including Full Cream Milk (Perfect Maza), Standard Milk (Shakti Plus) and Cow Milk, offered in consumer-friendly pack sizes such as 500 ml, 1 litre and larger institutional formats. The products will be distributed through a robust omnichannel network covering retail outlets, kirana stores, modern trade, institutional channels and direct distributors across 12 districts and cities, including Patna, Gaya, Aurangabad and Nawada, among others. With competitive pricing, the brand aims to make high-quality, hygienic milk accessible to every household in Bihar.

Namaste India’s Bihar operations are built on stringent quality and safety standards, including multi-level quality testing, end-to-end cold chain infrastructure and strict hygiene protocols to preserve freshness and nutritional value from farm to home. The initiative is expected to directly benefit 2–3 lakh dairy farmers and support the livelihoods of over 1 lakh families across the state.

Through fair pricing mechanisms and direct procurement systems, Namaste India is strengthening Bihar’s rural dairy economy while ensuring farmers receive fair compensation. Its local sourcing model enables fresher milk for consumers and improved income stability for milk producers, reinforcing a sustainable farm-to-consumer value chain.

Commenting on the launch, Manoj Arora, Chief Operating Officer, Namaste India, said, “Bihar is one of India’s most promising dairy markets, with strong consumption potential and a growing preference for branded, hygienic and quality-assured milk. Namaste India is addressing this demand by bringing our signature freshness, taste and quality standards to the state. This is just the beginning—we plan to deepen our presence across Bihar and further expand into Jharkhand, West Bengal and the North-East.”

Bihar plays a pivotal role in Namaste India’s pan-India growth strategy. With this launch, the brand now has a presence across 17–18 states, further strengthening its position as a national dairy player. The state’s rising demand for hygienic dairy products and increasing urbanisation make it one of India’s fastest-growing dairy consumption markets.

Namaste India remains committed to delivering milk rich in essential vitamins, calcium and minerals, while maintaining the highest standards of nutrition, quality and safety. Its regional-first dairy model focuses on local sourcing, modern processing and efficient distribution, disrupting traditional dairy supply chains.

Beyond fresh milk, Namaste India offers a comprehensive portfolio of dairy products including ghee, butter, curd, paneer, milk powder, fresh cream, milkshakes, flavoured milk, lassi and cookies—products that have earned strong consumer trust across India for their consistent quality and authentic taste.
