Rallis India Limited has announced the launch of two new insecticides — ALSTOR and FIPLAM — strengthening its crop protection portfolio and reinforcing its focus on farmer-centric innovation.
The new products are aimed at addressing persistent pest pressures across key crops, while supporting productivity and sustainable farming practices.
Targeted solution for paddy
ALSTOR is a dual-action granular insecticide that combines Chlorantraniliprole 0.4 per cent and Fipronil 0.6 per cent. The formulation is designed to deliver early-stage protection against stem borer in paddy, one of the most yield-impacting pests in rice cultivation.
The company has strategically introduced ALSTOR for the Rabi paddy season across Southern and Eastern India, regions where stem borer incidence remains high. Its granular formulation is intended to provide consistent field-level efficacy and crop safety during the critical early growth phase.
Broad-spectrum pest management
FIPLAM, the second launch, features a patented broad-spectrum formulation developed to manage both sucking and chewing pests. It targets thrips, jassids and borers across crops such as cotton, tomato, chilli and onion.
Backed by a calibrated pricing and positioning strategy, FIPLAM is being rolled out nationally to enhance accessibility for farmers across multiple agro-climatic zones.
Strengthening the innovation pipeline
With these launches, Rallis India continues to expand its solutions portfolio in line with evolving pest dynamics and crop protection needs. The company said the products are aligned with its broader objective of enabling better crop protection while improving farm-level outcomes.
The introduction of ALSTOR and FIPLAM underscores Rallis India’s continued investment in research-led formulations aimed at improving efficacy, reliability and on-field value for growers.
