Ram Mohan assumes role of MPEDA Director

Ram Mohan M K has been appointed as the new Director of the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA).

An alumnus of the postgraduate mariculture programme at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), affiliated with Cochin University of Science and Technology, Ram Mohan also holds a PhD from ICAR–Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE), Mumbai.

Since joining MPEDA in 2003, he has served in various key capacities including marketing, quality assurance, and infrastructure development. He also represented the organization as Resident Director in Tokyo. In addition to his new role, he serves on the Director Boards of MIDCON, Seafood Park India Ltd., and Lakshadweep Development Corporation Ltd.
