Arya.ag, India’s largest and only profitable grain commerce platform, continues to solidify its leadership team with the appointment of Jatinder Alagh as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He was working with Flipkart before joining Arya.ag.

Jatinder Alagh is Engineering & Product leader with more than 20 years of expertise in Design, Architecture and Delivery of large-scale systems that process millions of transactions.  He also has in-depth knowledge of diverse business domains ranging from e-commerce, Retail, Travel, procurement, Transportation, CRM, Back Office Applications, Chat Applications.

This appointment comes at a crucial juncture

Prior to NFL, he was serving as CMD of Madras Fertilizers Limited (MFL), a PSU under the Departments of Fertilizers.

The Department of Fertilizer, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India has appointed U. Saravanan as Chairman cum Managing Director of National Fertilizers Limited with effect from June 16, 2023. Prior to this, he was serving as CMD of Madras Fertilizers Limited (MFL), also a PSU under the Departments of Fertilizers and also held additional charge as Director (Technical) of another fertilizer PSU, FACT Limited, Cochin for more than a year. He was also a board member of Indian Potash Limited and Fortune Biotech.

Saravanan is a Chemical Engineer from Anna University and MBA from University of Madras. Saravanan has a wide experience spanning over 33 years covering both oil refinery and fertilizer industries. He is a Life member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers.

He has completed graduate training on Process Design conducted by UOP at Chicago, USA. He has also worked in Project Team for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of 0.6 MMTPA of Olefin Project at Rayong, Thailand under Toyo Engineering, Japan.

He holds a Masters in Science from Pune’s College of Agriculture, and held the post of CEO at Essar Agrotech Limited for over two decades before making this move.

Mitesh Shroff was also appointed by Nutrifresh as Senior Agronomist and unit-in-charge for their Warvadi site.  He has a Post Graduation Diploma in Landscape and Design and landscape Architecture from JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad. He was also the Technical Head (Grower) of M/s Simply Fresh Pvt Ltd and later was in Tawoos Agriculture System LLC, Oman, as their Senior Production Manager-Hydroponics. In Nutrifresh, he is all set to play a key role in delivering the practical solutions required for profitable and sustainable hydroponic farming across India.

He has over 25 years of experience building world-class products and platforms, and leading technology teams across multiple sectors like telecom, finance, healthcare, and agriculture. He has worked in various leadership roles in the domestic and international markets and has spent close to two decades in the US, building teams from the ground up in renowned startups.

Prior to joining Zuari FarmHub, Moharana was the Head of Technology at DeHaat.  In his current profile, he will work closely with the MD & CEO, Madan Pandey, to strengthen the technology element of Zuari FarmHub. Moharana graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Durgapur (1995).
