The new centre will provide remunerative options for farmers to develop self-sustainable villages
An agro-tourism centre established by Shri Siddhagiri Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kaneri, Kolhapur at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Campus was recently inaugurated. The centre was inaugurated by Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkarywah, Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh.
In his inaugural address, Hosabale opined for developing the initiative in the rural areas to provide more remunerative options for farmers for developing self-sustainable villages.
PP Adrushya Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji, Chairman, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kaneri urged the farmers to adopt the initiative. He also emphasised replicating the model and providing job opportunities for the other people in the villages.
Suresh Bhaiyaji Joshi, Senior Pracharak, Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh; Shri Arun Kumar, Sah Sarkarywah Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh and other Senior Officials of the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh were also present during the occasion.
The event registered participation by more than 200 participants.
