KisanKraft marks 20 years of transforming Indian agriculture

The company has grown into a trusted name across India’s farming belt and is rapidly emerging as a strong player in global agri-equipment exports

KisanKraft Limited, a leading agritech company specialising in agricultural machinery, tools, and seeds, is proud to celebrate its 20th anniversary on August 26, 2025. Established in 2005 with a mission to provide affordable solutions for small and marginal farmers, the company has grown into a trusted name across India’s farming belt and is rapidly emerging as a strong player in global agri-equipment exports.

Founded in 2005 by Ravindra Agrawal in a small garage in Bengaluru, KisanKraft began with a singular focus to make mechanisation affordable and accessible to small and marginal farmers. In just two decades, the company has transformed into the largest player in India’s small farm machinery segment, trusted by over 50 lakh farmers across the entire country. From its humble beginnings, KisanKraft has built a reputation for innovation and farmer-first solutions, offering more than 300 models that span the complete crop cycle- from land preparation and planting to crop management, harvesting, and post-harvest operations.

Over the years, KisanKraft has pioneered affordable mechanisation for India’s small and marginal farmers, tackling labour shortages and boosting farm productivity. It has set new quality benchmarks with BIS: ISI-certified products and patented innovations, while building a nationwide network of 5,000+ dealers and 14 regional offices to ensure last-mile access and support. The company’s Nellore (Andhra Pradesh) manufacturing facility has strengthened domestic production under the Make-in-India vision, and its focus on sustainability has led to innovations such as Sustainable Dry Direct Seeded Rice (SDSR) technology, stubble shavers, and electric-powered equipment to address environmental challenges.
