Coromandel International has upgraded the workshop facility at ITI Atali in Gujarat as part of its CSR initiative, enhancing hands-on training through new equipment and infrastructure repairs. The project benefits 158 local youths, strengthening vocational education and improving livelihood prospects in the Dahej region. The initiative underscores Coromandel’s ongoing commitment to community development and skill empowerment.
Coromandel International Limited, a leading agri-solutions provider, has upgraded the workshop facility at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Atali, Gujarat, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The project aims to enhance hands-on industrial training and create a more effective learning environment for youth in the region.
The upgraded facility includes major civil and electrical refurbishments, eco-friendly painting, and a comprehensive overhaul of workshop equipment. A key highlight is the installation of a new lathe machine, with additional repairs and recalibration of existing tools to align with current industry standards.
Currently, 158 local youth are benefitting from the enhanced infrastructure, which significantly boosts the operational capacity of the Skill Development Centre at ITI Atali. The initiative reflects Coromandel’s commitment to community development, especially in fostering employability through skill-based education.
The facility was formally handed over in the presence of Sandip Ahir, HR Head – Dahej; Ashish Patel, Plant Finance Head; and R. N. Patel, Principal In-charge of ITI Atali, along with faculty and students.
