Rising Northeast Investors Summit 2025: Arunachal Pradesh signs MoUs worth Rs 6,357 Cr

The MoUs span crucial development sectors like green energy, agri-tech, bamboo biofuel, healthcare, IT, education and tourism

The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has inked Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) totaling Rs 6,357 crore with 16 private sector investors during the Rising Northeast Investors Summit 2025, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The agreements encompass key sectors including green energy, healthcare, IT, education, tourism, agri-tech, and bamboo biofuel, marking a significant milestone in the state’s development journey.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, who hailed the event as a “transformational moment” for Arunachal Pradesh. He emphasized the importance of the agreements in fostering “inclusive and sustainable development” and commended the Planning & Investment Department for creating an investor-friendly ecosystem.

Key MoUs include:

Agri-Biofuel Global Ltd. — Rs 2,324 crore for converting agricultural waste into aviation and maritime fuels.

Developer Group India Pvt. Ltd. — Rs 1,760 crore for afforestation and carbon credit monetization initiatives.

Beema Bamboo Plantation — Rs 570 crore and Moso Bamboo Trial Plantation — Rs 55 crore for bamboo cultivation projects.

Inlamobi Pvt. Ltd. — Rs 1,000 crore investment for Blue Valley Fragrances & Flavours and the Ayush Cluster.

Medhavi Group — Rs 178 crore to establish a Skill & Tribal Entrepreneurship University in Ziro, generating over 430 direct jobs.

Zedsoftpoint — Rs 150 crore for IT infrastructure and data centre development.

Additional agreements focus on renewable energy, herbal and turmeric-based products, and spiritual tourism, further diversifying Arunachal Pradesh’s investment portfolio.

The signing of these MoUs underscores Arunachal Pradesh’s commitment to harnessing its vast natural and human resources by promoting sustainable growth and fostering innovation-led development.
