The development marks Kilburn Engineering’s entry into the qualified supplier base of Casale, a global technology licensor in the fertiliser, chemical and energy sectors.
Kilburn Engineering Limited has secured its first set of orders from Swiss technology licensor Casale SA worth Rs 70.2 crore, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion into the global fertiliser equipment market.
The orders involve the design, engineering and manufacture of specialised process equipment for fertiliser applications. More importantly, the contract establishes Kilburn Engineering as a qualified supplier within Casale’s global vendor network, opening opportunities to participate in large-scale international fertiliser, chemical and energy projects.
Casale is one of the world’s leading technology licensors serving the fertiliser, chemical and energy sectors. Its global supplier ecosystem supports some of the largest industrial projects worldwide, making qualification into its vendor network a notable achievement for engineering companies operating in the process equipment segment.
The latest order win further strengthens Kilburn Engineering’s position as a supplier of thermal processing and material handling equipment for the fertiliser industry. The company has developed expertise in manufacturing critical process equipment such as dryers, granulators, coaters and coolers used in modern fertiliser production plants.
The Casale contract comes on the back of a strong order inflow from the fertiliser sector over the past year. During the last 12 months, Kilburn has secured domestic orders worth around Rs 100 crore from leading companies, including Coromandel International, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF), Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) and Hindustan Zinc.
Commenting on the development, Amritanshu Khaitan, Chairman, Kilburn Engineering Limited, said, “The Casale orders are a validation of the standard we have set in process equipment for the fertiliser industry. Over the past year, we have won orders from Coromandel, RCF, FACT, Hindustan Zinc, Tecnimont, and now Casale—a combination of domestic blue-chip companies, global EPC contractors and technology licensors.”
He added that the company’s enquiry pipeline remains strong and it is well-positioned to build on this momentum by expanding its presence in both domestic and international markets.
On the export front, Kilburn has also secured an order from Italian EPC contractor Tecnimont and has previously supplied equipment for Morocco’s OCP project through JESA, further strengthening its international credentials.
The latest contract is expected to enhance Kilburn Engineering’s visibility in the global fertiliser equipment supply chain while reinforcing its strategy of expanding its footprint across international process industries.
