Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Ltd (IFFCO) has officially commenced the commercial production of Nano DAP Liquid at its newly set up plants in Aonla (Bareilly district) and Phulpur (Prayagraj district), Uttar Pradesh. Each facility is set to manufacture up to 200,000 bottles per day, marking a major step in increasing the nationwide availability of this innovative fertilizer
IFFCO’s new plants represent a strategic expansion, boosting its Nano Fertilizer production capacity—comprising both Nano Urea and Nano DAP—to an impressive 950,000 bottles per day across five operational sites. This significant increase in production is expected to bolster agricultural productivity and sustainability, offering vital support to India’s farming community. Nano DAP Liquid, made from nano-sized nitrogen and phosphorus particles, is praised for its superior nutrient absorption, which can contribute to improved crop yields.
Nano Urea, hailed as a game-changer in agriculture, is designed to reduce storage requirements and costs while enhancing yields. Just a 500 ml bottle of IFFCO Nano Urea Liquid can replace a full conventional urea bag, underscoring the innovative research by IFFCO scientists. In response to concerns over excessive urea usage and its impact on soil fertility, IFFCO not only developed but also patented this nano fertilizer, which is expected to improve both soil health and agricultural output.
