Discussions will be held on sustainability, employment generation and issues faced by the fisheries sector

The 12th AGROVISION, India’s Premier Agri Summit, to be held in Reshimbagh Ground, Nagpur, will host a conference on inland fisheries in Vidarbha and its adjoining areas on December 26, 2021. The conference will focus on the constraints being faced by the industry and how adopting the right policies can help the sector reach newer heights.

Experts will deliberate on how to increase the production of fish in small reservoirs to much larger levels and enhance employment generation also in the process. Discussions will be held on to enhance the capacity of the hatcheries.

This year farmers from in and around Vidarbha and adjoining states will be participating in the event. Apart from this, there will be free interactive workshops for farmers. Conferences on current issues in agriculture and allied agri sectors will be held. Around 400 exhibitors are likely to participate in the event.
