Insecticides (India) Limited has reported the financial results for Q1FY25. Insecticides (India) Ltd on reported 68.18 per cent jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 49.01 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal year. Net profit stood at Rs 29.14 crore in the same quarter of FY24, a regulatory filing said. Total income increased marginally to Rs 659.20 crore from Rs 643.84 crore in the year-ago period. Expenses fell to Rs 593.94 crore from Rs 604.3 crore.

In Q1FY25, Premium Products achieved 18 per cent growth and represented 60 per cent of total B2C revenue. We are confident in gaining significant market share in these product lines

Strong Financial Performance: In Q1FY25, Insecticides (India) Ltd reported a 57 per cent increase in EBITDA and a 68 per cent rise in Profit After Tax.

Launches & Innovations: Introduced one new product in Q1FY25, continuing from eight launches in FY24. We plan to launch more pathbreaking products, following extensive R&D efforts

Challenges in B2B and Exports: B2B and Exports division faced challenges due to lower pricing and unfavourable market conditions.

Target Focus Area: In FY25, Insecticides (India) Ltd will prioritise driving growth in Premium Products through enhanced demand generation and brand-building efforts while maintaining a disciplined approach to margins and working capital.

Company posted Profit After Tax of Rs 21.3 Crore in Q1FY25.

Best Agrolife Limited, amongst India’s leading agrochemicals manufacturers, announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30th, 2024. Company reported Rs 519.3 Cr revenue from operations in Q1 FY25. Company’s EBITDA (excluding other income) stood at 54.6 crore. Company posted Profit After Tax of Rs 21.3 Crore in Q1FY25.

Inventory de-stocking issues should improve with the good monsoon, as higher demand and improved volumes have helped companies liquidate excess inventory in Q1 FY25.

During the quarter, Best Agrolife achieved key milestones by launching four patented products. The Company launched a patented rice herbicide under the brand name “Orisulam,” which is a broad-spectrum pre-emergence, early post-emergence and post-emergence herbicide. This patented triple combination herbicide controls a wide variety of weeds, grasses and sedges.

Best Agrolife also introduced another new patented product under the brand name of “Nemagen”. This is an innovative broad-spectrum insecticide with three potent technicals of CTPR, Novaluron, and Emamectin. This product combats the developing pest resistance. This product is an excellent solution for farmers for crops such as cotton, paddy, maize, pulses and vegetables.

The Company also introduced a patented soybean seed treatment and insecticide under the brand name “Warden Extra”. India ranks 5th in the world for soybean production and this product has an excellent scope for the years to come.

And the fourth patented product is a unique product – “Defender”. This unique insecticide plus fungicide combination is an excellent paddy product with effectiveness against fungal diseases such as blight as well as for eradicating the major paddy pest of BPH. This combination will control the major threats to paddy crops, thus improving yields and crop resilience. With the expectation of good rains and a good paddy crop, this will be another good product for the years to come.

Additionally, the Company secured a patent for a Stable Synergistic Pesticidal Composition, highlighting its commitment to innovation and sustainability. These advancements demonstrate the Company’s dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions and supporting farmers with reliable products.

 In Q1 FY24 company posted Profit after tax was Rs 48 Cr, as compared to Rs 63 Cr of Q1 FY24. Crop care delivered strong volume led revenue growth of 8 per cent.

Rallis India Limited (A TATA Enterprise) is a leading player in the Indian agri inputs industry announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2024. Announcing the results, Dr Gyanendra Shukla, Managing Director & CEO, Rallis India Limited, said, “The agrochemical Industry continues to face growth challenges due to muted price arising from oversupplies. Domestic demand is looking positive with monsoon arrival and pickup.

Our revenue for Q1 FY25 was at Rs 783 Cr at par with Rs 782 Cr of Q1 FY24, Profit after tax was Rs 48 Cr, as compared to Rs 63 Cr of Q1 PY. Crop care delivered strong volume led revenue growth of 8 per cent. Seeds revenue was down by 16 per cent vs PY largely due to supply constraints. Despite market challenges, concerted actions were taken to drive margins through better product mix and dynamic pricing. We are pleased with the progress of our new launch of “Clasto” in Crop Protection and “Diggaz” in Cotton Seeds. Water Soluble Fertilizers (WSF) plant was commissioned during the quarter to support the Crop Nutrition Business.

We remain cautious about the export market and expect a gradual recovery during the year. Sentiments for the domestic market are positive with the recent monsoon pick-up. On a long-term basis, Customer Centricity will remain a key thrust and we will continue to offer differentiated solutions to solve varying farmer needs. We will further intensify our efforts to build capabilities in Manufacturing, Digitalization and leverage Collaborations and Alliances”.
