 Company’s domestic sales in August 2024 were at 20518 units, as against 20647 units during August 2023.

 Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), part of the Mahindra Group, announced its tractor sales numbers for August 2024. Domestic sales in August 2024 were at 20518 units, as against 20647 units during August 2023. Total tractor sales (Domestic + Exports) during August 2024 were at 21917 units, as against 21676 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month stood at 1399 units.

Commenting on the performance, Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “We have sold 20518 tractors in the domestic market during August. The cumulative monsoon rainfall is normal to above normal in Southern, central, western, and most northern states, while it has been deficient in few eastern and northeastern states. Reservoir levels have improved substantially and Kharif sowing for paddy, pulses, oil seeds and sugarcane has progressed very well and higher than last year. The upcoming festive season, above normal monsoon, bumper Kharif harvest and favourable terms of trade for farmers are likely to drive growth of tractor industry going forward. In the exports market, we have sold 1399 tractors, a growth of 36% over last year.”

To symbolise 50 years of excellence, Swaraj has launched ‘Josh ka Swaran Utsav’ campaign, embarking on an extensive journey across the country, starting from North India. This initiative will serve as a dynamic platform for direct engagement with farmers and spread awareness about Naya Swaraj.

The campaign promises a series of exciting events, including tractor rallies and customer meets, bringing together the Swaraj sales team, local farmers, channel partners and influencers. The initiative is expected to attract enthusiastic participation, enabling Swaraj to connect with over 50,000 customers directly.

Flagging off the ‘Josh ka Swaran Utsav’ campaign from one of Swaraj’s Tractors oldest manufacturing plants in Mohali, Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., emphasized the significance of the celebration, stating that, “As we embark on this momentous journey, we honour the invaluable role of farmers in Swaraj’s success story. This Golden Jubilee celebration is a testament to our commitment to serving and empowering farmers across India.”

Exports for the month stood at 1651 units

Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), part of the Mahindra Group, announced its tractor sales numbers for March 2022.
Domestic sales in March 2022 were at 28112 units, as against 29817 units during March 2021.

Total tractor sales (Domestic + Exports) during March 2022 were at 29763 units, as against 30970 units for the same period last year.
Exports for the month stood at 1651 units.

Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra said, “We have sold 28112 tractors in the domestic market during March 2022. Record procurement of Kharif acreage, a substantial increase in exports of agricultural products like wheat, sugar and cotton will help improve the financial position of the farmers leading to better cash flow in the rural market to help boost tractor demand going forward. Acreage of Kharif crop has already crossed last year’s levels, which augurs well for agri incomes. This will get a further boost with an early forecast of a normal monsoon. In the exports market, we have sold 1651 tractors, a growth of 43 per cent over last year.”
