From India to world: ITL’s new Solis Range redefines global tractor engineering

International Tractors Ltd. (ITL), India’s leading tractor exporter, made a decisive statement at Agritechnica 2025 in Hannover, unveiling a new generation of Solis tractors engineered for performance, sustainability, and global market readiness. From heavy-duty workhorses to compact electric units, the company’s lineup showcased advanced Stage V-compliant engines, upgraded hydraulics, digital-ready interfaces, and operator-centric comfort features designed for the future of efficient farming. The spotlight remained firmly on the Solis S40 Shuttle XL and the Solis EXTRA Series—models that underscore ITL’s emphasis on smarter engineering, lower emissions, and real-world productivity gains for farmers worldwide.

Across the pavilion, ITL displayed an expansive range of next-gen equipment, including the Solis S26+, the Solis 26 HST Black Edition, the Solis C48 (12+12), the Solis 90 NT Stage V, and the Solis S90 Shuttle XL with Power Shuttle. The company also highlighted its growing electric portfolio, featuring compact EV tractors and ride-on mowers such as the Solis S1 30E and S1 42E—products built at ITL’s high-efficiency Hoshiarpur facility, capable of rolling out a tractor every two minutes.

Leadership reinforced ITL’s innovation-first strategy, with Managing Director Dr. Deepak Mittal emphasizing how global platforms like Agritechnica accelerate the adoption of future-ready technologies. Director & CEO – International Business, Gaurav Saxena, noted that Europe’s rigorous safety and performance benchmarks continue to push ITL to deliver machinery that excels in diverse farming environments.

A key attraction, the Solis S40 Shuttle XL, blends power with operator comfort through its 3-cylinder Stage V Yanmar engine, 8F+8R Synchromesh gearbox, 1000 kg hydraulic lift, and ergonomic S-Command Center. Meanwhile, the Solis EXTRA Series—available in 26 HST and 26 (9+9) variants—offers strengthened hydraulics, heavy-duty axles, improved efficiency, and enhanced durability, supported by a 5-year warranty. Each model reflects the “EXTRA” promise of exceptional lifting, extra efficiency, tough axles, reliability, and advanced comfort.

With these launches, ITL raises the global benchmark for compact and utility tractor engineering, reinforcing its leadership in international agriculture and signaling a new era of farmer-first innovation tailored to modern, high-demand farming systems.
