VST Tillers Tractors Limited recorded total sales of 4,664 units in October 2025, reflecting a robust 89 per cent year-on-year increase as India’s smallholder farmers continue to embrace compact mechanization solutions. The company sold 4,077 power tillers and 587 tractors during the month, underscoring the strong preference for versatile and cost-efficient farm equipment suited for fragmented landholdings.

The sharp jump in power tiller sales—up from 1,783 units in October 2024—highlights the rising demand for mechanization support in regions transitioning from manual and animal-based farming to more productive methods. Tractor sales for the month stood at 587 units compared to 680 units last year, reflecting some softness in the compact tractor segment amid fluctuating rural liquidity and delayed festive demand.

For the year-to-date period ending October 2025, VST Tillers Tractors achieved cumulative sales of 32,069 units, up from 22,387 units in the same period of the previous year. This includes 28,906 power tillers compared to 19,108 units a year earlier, reinforcing VST’s leadership in the category. Tractor sales totaled 3,163 units year-to-date versus 3,279 units sold during the same period in 2024.

With a strong order pipeline and increasing adoption of compact agri-equipment across horticulture, paddy cultivation, and intercropping systems, VST Tillers Tractors continues to play a pivotal role in advancing productivity and mechanization for India’s small and marginal farmers.
