Escorts Kubota posts steady sales growth in October on strong festive demand

Escorts Kubota Ltd. reported total tractor sales of 18,798 units in October 2025, a 3.8 per cent increase year-on-year from 18,110 units a year earlier, supported by stronger rural demand and early festive season buying.

Domestic volumes rose 3.3 per cent YoY to 18,423 units, reflecting a continuation of September’s retail momentum. Exports expanded 38.4 per cent YoY to 375 units, driven by higher demand in key international markets.

The company noted that the tractor industry benefitted from a favorable operating environment, including higher reservoir levels, policy support, and reduced GST on agri-machinery, bolstering sentiment during the festive period. While extended rains in certain states have caused localized crop damage and slowed sowing activities, the outlook remains positive with stable demand expected through the Rabi season.

Escorts Kubota continues to focus on channel optimization and technology-driven product enhancements as it builds on India’s accelerating farm mechanization trend.
