Rallis India posts strong Q1 performance with 22% revenue growth, doubles PAT

Rallis India Limited, a Tata Enterprise and a prominent player in India’s agri-inputs sector, reported a strong performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26), driven by robust volume growth across its business segments and improving global market sentiments.

The company posted revenue of Rs 957 crore for Q1 FY26, marking a 22 per cent increase over Rs 783 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Profit After Tax (PAT) nearly doubled to Rs 95 crore from Rs 48 crore in Q1 FY25. The PAT margin improved from 6 per cent to 10 per cent, attributed to a favourable product mix and continued cost optimization initiatives.

Rallis saw double-digit volume-led growth across core businesses: 13 per cent in Crop Care B2C, 23 per cent in Crop Care B2B, and a sharp 38 per cent in the Seeds segment. Its Soil & Plant Health portfolio also registered 33 per cent growth, aligning with the company’s strategic focus on sustainable agri-solutions. North India’s cotton seed hybrids, particularly the “Diggaz” brand, continued their positive momentum in the kharif cycle.

The quarter also saw several strategic product launches across crop protection and seed portfolios. Nine new crop protection products were introduced, including Allato and Penflor for paddy, Master Gold for grapes, and Dodrio for paddy sheath blight. In the insecticides category, Fiplam was launched for cotton. Fourteen new seed products were rolled out across cotton, bajra, and paddy, strengthening Rallis’ value proposition in the seeds business.

Working capital management remained robust during the quarter, leading to a healthy fund balance. The company maintained a cautiously optimistic outlook for the remainder of the fiscal year, with key watchpoints including the liquidation of products placed in Crop Care B2C and Seeds, and the trajectory of global export recovery.

On the strategic front, Rallis reaffirmed its long-term focus on customer centricity, differentiated product offerings, and investments in manufacturing capabilities, digital transformation, and strategic alliances.

The company’s Ankleshwar unit received the “Resilient Award” for Water Conservation from SGCCI and GPCB. Rallis was also recognized with the “Best Supply Chain & Logistics Company” award by Alden Global and won the “Best CSR Initiative” accolade from the Indian Chamber of Commerce for its Krishi Vikram program.

Rallis India’s performance in Q1 FY26 reflects its ongoing transformation into a more agile, innovation-led agri enterprise with a sharp focus on farmer needs, sustainability, and global competitiveness.
