Aims to strengthen its distribution network and create a strong retail footprint with store launches in Bengaluru and Amaravati as part of its structured national expansion plan for 2026-27
Sri Narasu’s Coffee Company Pvt. Ltd., South India’s iconic authentic coffee brand with a legacy spanning nearly a century, today announced its aggressive pan-India expansion strategy with plans to strengthen its distribution network and expand retail presence across key southern markets.
As part of its strategic growth roadmap, the company has opened its first company-owned store in Bengaluru, with another outlet in Amaravati expected to commence operations within the next two to three months. The expansion marks Narasu’s deeper entry into Karnataka, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh after establishing a strong foothold in Tamil Nadu.
Currently, the company operates 78 company-owned stores and offers over 180 SKUs across coffee, tea, and other FMCG product categories. Narasu’s Coffee is widely recognised for its premium gold-standard coffee blend and authentic South Indian coffee experience.
The move comes at a time when coffee consumption across South India continues to witness strong growth, particularly in urban and semi-urban markets. The company believes Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh represent significant growth opportunities due to increasing demand for premium and authentic coffee products. Salem’s strategic geographic positioning further strengthens the company’s ability to service these interconnected markets efficiently.
The Bengaluru and upcoming Amaravati stores will showcase the company’s complete range of offerings, including premium coffee blends, instant coffee products, and freeze-dried variants. Simultaneously, Narasu’s plans to significantly expand its distributor network from the existing 42 distributors to nearly 150 distributors by the end of the current fiscal year.
Narasu’s Coffee has also built a strong presence in the fast-growing instant coffee segment through products such as the Pure Instant Coffee range, Master’s Extra Strong, Insta Strong Coffee range, and freeze-dried coffee portfolio. The company’s products cater to consumers across economic segments, with pricing ranging from Rs 560 to Rs 3,340 per kilogram.
Sivanantham, Chairman, Sri Narasu’s Coffee, said, “Our journey has been built on the pillars of ethics, reliability, and integrity — values that have earned us the trust of millions of families who have made Sri Narasu’s Coffee a part of their daily lives across generations. Our focus remains firmly on the future without compromising on the standards and commitment to quality that have defined us since 1926. We believe in growth with responsibility and will ensure that our consumers always get value for their spend. Consumer satisfaction remains a non-negotiable virtue at Narasu’s.”
Srudheep S, Managing Director, Sri Narasu’s Coffee, said, “To sustain a legacy for nearly a century requires deep respect for our roots and an unyielding commitment to quality. We have spent decades building an unassailable foundation in Tamil Nadu through product integrity, supply chain discipline, and consumer trust. Today, with a strong network of distributors and dealers, we see immense potential across the southern region and aspire to capture a significant market share. Our vision is to bring the authentic South Indian coffee experience to every modern kitchen across India and beyond.”
He further added, “We have charted out a strategic pan-India expansion plan for the next three years. The Bengaluru and Amaravati stores mark the beginning of this growth journey. By establishing a strong supply chain network alongside an enhanced retail presence, we expect this expansion to contribute approximately 18–20 per cent additional revenue to our existing portfolio by the end of the current fiscal year. Our instant coffee range continues to remain the key growth driver for the business.”
He also noted that the domestic instant coffee market is witnessing rapid growth, positioning Narasu’s favourably to build a strong niche presence and capture a significant market share.
“Our USP remains our blend consistency, which has remained unchanged for decades. Consumers trust us for the authentic taste and quality we deliver, backed by stringent quality control standards and operational excellence. We are among the few brands in Tamil Nadu ensuring products are dispatched and made available on retail shelves within 24 hours,” he said.
Built on a legacy of trust, authentic taste, and an uncompromising commitment to the South Indian filter coffee tradition, Sri Narasu’s Coffee continues to position itself as one of India’s most respected and rapidly evolving coffee enterprises.
