Rallis India, a Tata enterprise and one of India’s leading integrated agri-input companies, has entered into a strategic partnership with Paryan (Paryan Alliance Pvt. Ltd.) to introduce FullPage, a next-generation herbicide-tolerant rice technology poised to reshape India’s paddy ecosystem.
The collaboration marks a significant step forward for India’s rice sector, which spans over 44 million hectares but continues to grapple with intensifying pressure from water scarcity, rising labour costs, and weed-management challenges. Under the agreement, Rallis becomes the licensed technology partner for FullPage in India, paving the way for a progressive shift toward sustainable, resource-efficient rice cultivation.
A Next-Gen Cropping System
FullPage is more than a seed technology—it is a comprehensive cropping system integrating advanced herbicide-tolerant rice hybrids, compatible crop protection chemistries, and science-backed agronomic protocols. Designed to support direct-seeded rice (DSR), the system enables significant water savings, lower methane emissions, higher weed-control efficiency, and improved labor and cost optimization. This marks a meaningful departure from the conventional transplanting method that dominates Indian fields and contributes substantially to water stress and methane emissions.
Field Pilots from 2026 Kharif
Rallis India will initiate pilot demonstrations across key agronomic states, generating real-world data on performance, stewardship, and farmer adoption. Limited commercial sales are planned from the Kharif 2026 season, setting the stage for a phased nationwide rollout. Leveraging its deep rural presence and trusted Dhanya brand, Rallis will pair FullPage technology with its own rice hybrid portfolio to offer farmers an integrated, productivity-enhancing solution.
Transforming India’s Rice Economy
“FullPage brings together seed genetics, crop chemistry, and precision agronomy in a unified platform,” said a company spokesperson. “It is engineered to help Indian farmers produce more with less—less water, less labor, and fewer uncertainties.” As India navigates a future defined by climate volatility and the need for sustainable intensification, FullPage positions Rallis India to deliver higher productivity, stronger resource efficiency, and a more resilient rice value chain.
