AVPL International, CSC forge National Drone Network to supercharge rural entrepreneurship

In a bold step toward accelerating India’s rural tech transformation, AVPL International (AITMC Ventures Ltd.) has partnered with CSC e-Governance Services India Limited (CSC SPV) to bring drone technology to every corner of the country — and catalyze a new generation of rural entrepreneurs.

The collaboration will see AVPL’s Viraj UAS agricultural drones, spare parts, and specialized training programs integrated into the 5 lakh-strong CSC Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) network, enabling widespread access to drone-powered services for farming communities. By leveraging the CSC digital platform, rural entrepreneurs can purchase, operate, and monetise drones through Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) models, unlocking fresh income streams and digital livelihoods.

“We have always envisioned a self-reliant and empowered rural India,” said Dr. Preet Sandhuu, Founder & Managing Director, AVPL International, and Promoter, Startup Stairs. “Through our association with CSC, the mission of creating one drone entrepreneur in every village is no longer aspirational, but actionable. Together, we are enabling farmers to access precision agriculture while boosting rural incomes through technology-led enterprises.”

Beyond equipment distribution, AVPL will train CSC channel partners and rural youth in drone operation, maintenance, and data-driven agronomy — accelerating adoption of high-efficiency methods such as aerial spraying, crop surveillance, and yield analytics. These advances are expected to reduce water consumption, minimise chemical exposure, and improve farmer safety, while driving measurable productivity gains.

The initiative firmly aligns with the Atmanirbhar Bharat agenda — championing indigenous drone manufacturing, green innovation, and rural skill upliftment. AVPL will ensure after-sales support, servicing, and warranties, while CSC will drive rapid onboarding, visibility, and hyperlocal delivery.

This MoU signals a transformational inflection point: rural India shifting from passive technology consumers to active digital entrepreneurs. As national drone commercialization accelerates, the AVPL–CSC partnership positions rural innovators at the frontlines of India’s agricultural modernization — and the future of its workforce.
