India Bioenergy & Tech Expo 2025 set to become global hub for clean energy innovation

The 2nd India Bioenergy & Tech Expo (IBET) 2025, one of the world’s largest gatherings on bioenergy and clean technologies, will take place from September 24–26, 2025 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, Delhi. Themed “Transition to Net Zero: Need to Scale up Bio-energy Initiatives,” the expo underscores India’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions as a cornerstone of its climate strategy. The conference will feature keynote addresses from Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister for Road Transport & Highways, alongside a Valedictory Session on September 26 presided over by Pralhad Joshi, Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Consumer Affairs & Food and Public Distribution, who will also confer the India Green Energy Awards. The plenary session on September 25 will be led by Shripad Naik, Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy.

IBET 2025 is set to host over 500 delegates, including 170+ government officials, international experts, industry leaders, and research scholars, across more than 30 sessions covering compressed biogas (CBG), ethanol, advanced biofuels, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), biomass, carbon capture and utilization (CCUS), carbon markets, bio-mobility, and green hydrogen. The expo floor will showcase innovations from 100+ leading companies, including Praj Industries, Reliance New Energy, Verbio, AM Green, TVS, Novonesis, Hero, Toyota, Thermax, Gas Lab, Canex, Indian Oil Ventures, Shree Renuka Sugars and NTPC.

Uttar Pradesh, a national leader in bioenergy adoption, will participate as a Partner State, hosting a dedicated session on investment opportunities. Additional side events, such as the Farm to Fuel Seminar, How to Establish a CBG Plant Workshop, and structured buyer-seller meets, will enable direct industry engagement. Rural Voice will also organize the seminar “From Farm to Fuel: Building a Bioenergy Ecosystem” in partnership with IFGE on September 25.

Supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Power, MoRTH, DST, and MSME, along with industry associations including ISMA, NFCSF, IBA, GEMA, and WBA, IBET 2025 aims to position India at the forefront of global bioenergy leadership. Over three days, the expo will spotlight policy frameworks, investment, technology adoption, skill-building, and supply chain development, providing a comprehensive roadmap for scaling bioenergy solutions in India and internationally.

IBET 2025 is not just an exhibition—it is a global platform for accelerating the transition to net-zero, showcasing India’s contributions in ethanol blending, CBG scaling, SAF production, and carbon capture technologies, while fostering strategic collaboration across government, industry, and research sectors.
