PRYM Aerospace, part of the PRYM Group, has received certification from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for its Arjuna drone, paving the way for large-scale deployment across India’s agriculture sector.
The milestone approval comes on the heels of DGCA’s recognition of the Group’s Drone School of Excellence as a certified Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO), creating India’s first integrated ecosystem for drone manufacturing, pilot training, and nationwide deployment through the Salam Kisan platform. Earlier this year, PRYM Group further cemented its commitment to agri-drone adoption by signing a Rs 300 crore MoU with the Government of Maharashtra at the World Economic Forum in Davos to accelerate drone-enabled farming and skill development.
Through Salam Kisan, over three lakh farmers have already benefitted from precision spraying and crop monitoring solutions. With DGCA approvals for both hardware and training, PRYM Group is now positioned to expand services across the country and strengthen a sustainable agri-drone ecosystem.
The Arjuna drone is purpose-built for precision agriculture—enabling advanced crop monitoring, optimised fertiliser and pesticide application, and significant reductions in chemical usage. By delivering actionable insights on soil health and water management, the drone empowers farmers to embrace eco-friendly, data-driven farming practices that enhance productivity while reducing input costs.
The certification marks a critical inflection point for India’s agri-drone sector, which is moving from pilot projects to scaled adoption. It also positions PRYM Aerospace as a frontrunner in combining indigenous innovation, regulatory compliance, and farmer-centric deployment models.
Beyond agriculture, PRYM Aerospace is building capabilities in advanced aerospace and defence manufacturing. The company specialises in lightweight structures, aerospace-grade components, and next-generation systems engineered to global benchmarks of safety, reliability, and performance. With its focus on sustainable manufacturing, advanced materials, and technology-led growth, PRYM Aerospace aims to emerge as a trusted partner for both domestic and international aerospace programs.
By linking innovation, training, and deployment under one platform, PRYM Aerospace is not just expanding access to drones—it is laying the foundation for a globally competitive Indian drone ecosystem that can transform agriculture and extend into high-value aerospace applications.
