Mahindra Ag North America (MAgNA) and AEM celebrate power behind manufacturing in Houston

This event recognised the company’s hundreds of U.S. employees and family-owned dealers across the country

Mahindra Ag North America (MAgNA), the world leader in farm tractor sales by volume, hosted a joint event with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) at its Houston headquarters. AEM’s national bus tour, which stopped in Houston, the equipment manufacturing capital of the country, highlighted MAgNA’s contributions to the state’s economy and manufacturing industry. These companies are the lifeblood of the economy, driving employment and commerce, while enriching the fabric of the communities.

MAgNA opened its doors to the local community’s students and educators to honour the 345,000 Texans – and 2.3 million men and women nationwide – who build, power and feed the world through equipment manufacturing. This event recognised the company’s hundreds of U.S. employees and family-owned dealers across the country, who work together to deliver the toughest tractors and utility vehicles to farmers, property owners and workers.

“For over 30 years, Mahindra Ag North America has proudly stood at the intersection of innovation and purpose in the manufacturing landscape,” said Viren Popli, President & CEO, Mahindra Ag North America. “This event provided a chance to celebrate manufacturing, our U.S. heritage, and connect with students to explore career opportunities in agriculture and manufacturing.”

Mahindra employees and guests had the opportunity to interact with AEM staff and participate in its “Manufacturing Challenge” to learn more about policies and programs that support manufacturing jobs. Guests explored career opportunities and learned about AEM’s grassroots initiative, I Make America, which advocates for policies that strengthen U.S. manufacturing while enjoying food, entertainment and winning prizes. This tour highlights the manufacturing workforce, the people and companies whose dedication powers, builds, and sustains our world.
