Kan Biosys, a leading Indian agri-biotech company committed to sustainable farming, has announced the launch of two major product lines aimed at enhancing productivity while supporting eco-conscious agriculture. The new offerings include ROFA (Real Optimised Fertilizer Application), a range of imported specialty fertilizers developed in collaboration with De Sangosse, France, and a suite of neem-based formulations developed indigenously by Kan Biosys’ in-house R&D team.

The ROFA product line comprises twelve water-soluble fertilizers tailored for precise nutrient delivery. These formulations are engineered to improve nutrient uptake across varied agro-climatic zones, especially through foliar applications. By aligning with the needs of modern precision agriculture, ROFA seeks to significantly boost nutrient efficiency and crop performance.

Speaking at the launch, Sandeepa Kanitkar, Managing Director of Kan Biosys and President of the Biostimulant Association of India (BASAI), said, “While ROFA stands for Real Optimised Fertilizer Application, I believe ‘R’ also stands for respect—respect for our farmers and the land they cultivate. With ROFA, we are introducing trusted French technology, adapted for Indian conditions, to support the future of high-performance, sustainable farming.”

In a parallel initiative, the company also launched a new line of neem-based agricultural products. These bio-inputs are designed using traditional Indian knowledge systems, integrated with modern scientific validation, to offer natural, residue-free crop care solutions. The neem formulations address the growing demand for sustainable alternatives to synthetic chemicals while maintaining plant health and productivity.
