India Chambers has appointed Amit Srivastava, Founder and CEO of Nutrify Today, to the Governing Board of its Rural Economic Forum under the flagship ‘One India Project’. This strategic move is aimed at accelerating rural transformation by harnessing frontier technologies, sustainable agricultural practices, and next-generation supply chains.
Srivastava, a recognized pioneer in AI-led innovation in nutraceuticals, brings to the table a deep understanding of how cutting-edge science can empower smallholder farmers and build globally competitive value chains. His leadership will be pivotal in driving AI-based traceability systems for medicinal and organic crops, empowering farmers to grow high-value botanicals on certified land, and unlocking end-to-end market integration through Nutrify Today’s flagship platform, NutrifyGenie AI. This peer-reviewed platform, already used in research published by Elsevier and other global publishers, sets a new benchmark for scalable, science-backed applications in food-tech and nutraceuticals.
As part of his mandate, Srivastava will also spearhead collaborations with premier research institutions like IIT Kanpur and ICMR to shape a national roadmap for nutritional security infrastructure. He will further support “GauVan,” a carbon sequestration initiative that links climate action with rural livelihoods—bridging environmental sustainability with grassroots economic growth.
Dr. Nitin Pangotra, President and CEO of India Chambers, called the appointment a natural fit. “India’s emergence as a nutraceutical innovation hub is no longer a distant vision—it’s happening now. Amit’s commitment to responsible nutrition science and his track record in democratizing supply chains make him the ideal catalyst to scale this $3 trillion rural food-tech economy.”
India’s nutraceutical sector has seen exponential growth—from $2 billion in 2015 to an expected $20 billion in 2025. Srivastava is optimistic that India is now poised to capture a far greater share of the global market. “A purpose-driven startup culture has taught us that when the purpose is clear, the path emerges. I’m honoured to join India Chambers in advancing a $100 billion vision powered by science, rooted in rural India, and built for the world.”
Dr. Pangotra added, “Just as the U.S. led the early 2000s nutraceutical boom, India—with its pharma heritage and biotech potential—is ready not just to match global standards but to define them.”
