Balwaan Krishi acquires India’s largest agri YouTube Platform

Farming leader, unlocks direct access to 15 million farmers

Balwaan Krishi, one of India’s fastest-growing agri-equipment companies, has acquired Farming Leader, India’s most-watched agriculture-focused YouTube and Meta platform. The strategic acquisition gives Balwaan direct access to a combined audience of over 15 million farmers, marking a significant step toward building a fully integrated farmer ecosystem across content, commerce, and on-ground distribution.

Farming Leader YouTube channel alone brings 6.5 million subscribers, over 1.18 billion views, and 1,500+ field-tested videos, making it one of the most trusted digital platforms for practical farming knowledge in India. The platform has built deep credibility among farmers by consistently delivering actionable insights on crop practices, government schemes, and equipment usage.

With this acquisition, Balwaan is building a full-stack digital content for agricultural. The combined entity will deliver high-impact farmer education content, Kisan mela Coverage, Live Demonstration, agri news, farmer success stories, and mandi insights across key agricultural regions.

In parallel, the company will scale content production in multiple regional languages and launch structured series focused on crop optimisation, farm mechanisation, and government scheme awareness- ensuring practical, actionable information reaches farmers at scale.

Rohit Bajaj, Co-Founder, Balwaan Krishi, sai- “This acquisition is about building a deeper and more meaningful connection with farmers at scale. Content today is a powerful lever that cannot be ignored. Farming Leader, under Darshan’s leadership, has earned deep trust by communicating in a way that farmers truly understand- simple, practical, and relevant. Farmers don’t need complexity; they need clear, effective solutions. When we combine that trusted content with our product ecosystem and strong distribution network, the impact can be significant. At Balwaan, we are building the company on three core pillars– affordability, awareness, and accessibility, and this acquisition significantly strengthens our awareness pillar.”

Darshan Singh, Founder of Farming Leader and newly appointed CMO of Balwaan Krishi, said-
“Farming Leader has been built over nearly a decade through deep, on-ground engagement with farmers across the country, creating a strong and trusted connection at scale. Today, farmers are spending a significant amount of time on social media, making it one of the most effective, accessible, and cost-efficient channels for awareness and engagement. This shift clearly signifies the growing importance of digital content in the agri ecosystem.

Farming Leader has already demonstrated that the right content can evolve from a cost centre into a revenue engin, —transforming marketing spend into marketing income. Now with Balwaan muscle, we have the opportunity to scale faster, strengthen our content capabilities, and build a more structured and impactful platform.

Together, we aim to evolve from India’s largest agri-influencer platform into a global agri-media platform, while staying closely aligned with the real, day-to-day needs of farmers.”
