AeroCrop positions Jyoti Global Plast at forefront of India’s agri-tech transformation

Jyoti Global Plast, backed by more than four decades of leadership in precision plastic and FRP moulding, has entered India’s fast-growing agricultural drone segment with the launch of AeroCrop, a high-end UAS engineered for demanding field conditions.

As drone-enabled spraying becomes an integral part of India’s farm mechanisation shift, AeroCrop is positioned as a durable, operator-friendly platform designed to combine engineering rigour with practical performance.

Built for High-Output Field Operations

AeroCrop offers up to 29 minutes of flight time without payload and 22 minutes with payload, supported by a 27.5-kg maximum take-off weight. It features a 10-litre tank with interchangeable flat-jet and centrifugal nozzles, enabling controlled droplet formation and uniform spray distribution. The system can cover one acre in 5–8 minutes, delivering up to 30 acres of spraying per day with reduced chemical wastage and improved consistency across varying terrain.

The platform aims to address inefficiencies associated with manual spraying by enhancing precision, reducing labour intensity, and improving operator safety.

Radar Intelligence as a Competitive Strength

AeroCrop incorporates an intelligent radar-based navigation system that maintains constant height, adapts to terrain contours, avoids obstacles, and executes autonomous missions with high predictability. This system simplifies the transition from manual spraying and provides a smoother upgrade path for users of basic entry-level drones.

Advancing Deeper Into India’s UAV Ecosystem

The launch represents a strategic expansion for Jyoti Global Plast into the broader UAV ecosystem. The company plans to leverage AeroCrop’s core architecture for additional applications such as industrial cleaning, surveillance, and infrastructure inspection, areas expected to grow as India strengthens its domestic drone manufacturing base.

With state governments scaling drone-led agronomy initiatives and service providers expanding spraying fleets nationwide, AeroCrop is being positioned as a reliable, high-output solution for farmers, FPOs, and agri-enterprises.
