The deal expands Tagros’ footprint across 25+ countries and marks its strategic entry into branded B2C agrochemical formulations via new entity Arqivo
Tagros Chemicals India Private Limited has signed a definitive agreement to acquire global assets related to Bayer AG’s Flubendiamide (FLB) active ingredient business across Latin America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific, significantly expanding its international footprint and product portfolio.
The transaction includes the acquisition of solo and mixture formulations of Flubendiamide, along with a comprehensive suite of business assets. These comprise globally recognized trademarks such as BELT, FAME, FENOS, FENOS QUICK, BELT EXPERT, and TIHAN, as well as product registrations and registration data, formulation know-how, technical documentation, product information, and associated inventories.
With access to more than 25 countries, the acquisition strengthens Tagros’ position in the high-growth Diamide insecticide segment and accelerates its evolution from a predominantly B2B-focused manufacturer to a branded, customer-facing player.
The deal also marks Tagros’ formal entry into the B2C formulations business, which will be operated through its newly established entity, Arqivo. The move underscores Tagros’ ambition to build a global branded agrochemicals platform, leveraging Bayer’s established market presence and product credibility.
“This acquisition represents a pivotal milestone in Tagros’ growth journey,” the company said, highlighting its intent to deepen farmer engagement and expand downstream value creation across key agricultural markets.
