Dhanuka Agritech Limited marked Farmers’ Day with a landmark announcement at its Dhanuka Agritech Research and Technology (DART) center in Palwal, unveiling the adoption of the entire district with a vision to transform it into a model agricultural region. The initiative underscores Dhanuka’s commitment to empowering farmers through research-driven innovation, technology-led solutions, and sustainable practices.

The event was graced by Dr. P.K. Singh, Agriculture Commissioner, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, and Dr. Harish Vashisht, Deputy Commissioner, Palwal, alongside Dr. R.G. Agarwal, Chairman Emeritus of Dhanuka Agritech Limited. Senior officials, distinguished scientists, and local farmer leaders also attended.

Through the DART center in Sihol village, Dhanuka aims to address technological and informational gaps, providing farmers with modern crop protection techniques, integrated pest management strategies, and soil health solutions. Emphasis was placed on scientific crop management, adoption of good agricultural practices, and building Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to strengthen rural economies.

The program featured interactive sessions where experts engaged directly with farmers, sharing insights on sustainable practices, productivity enhancement, and environment-friendly approaches. Officials highlighted the importance of collaboration among research institutions, government bodies, and farmers to drive rural development.

By aligning innovation, education, and sustainability, Dhanuka Agritech positions Palwal as a blueprint for modern agriculture, aiming to raise farmer incomes, ensure long-term food security, and establish a scalable model for district-level transformation.
