PI Industries has announced the formal integration of Plant Health Care Plc—acquired in August 2024—into its global operations under the new identity of PI AgSciences, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion into advanced biologicals and sustainable crop solutions. The transformation, unveiled on November 24, 2025, positions PI AgSciences as the central platform for the company’s global agriculture business and reinforces PI’s ambition to lead innovation across the biologicals and crop protection landscape.
With annual revenues approaching $1 billion, PI Industries has built an 80-year legacy as a fast-growing life sciences company operating across the agricultural value chain—from molecule discovery to farmer-focused solutions. Its portfolio spans crop protection, biologicals, and custom synthesis and manufacturing, supported by a global customer network and partnership-driven commercial model.
The company now operates in more than 40 countries and employs over 4,000 people, backed by an R&D engine of more than 700 scientists across four innovation hubs and seven manufacturing sites. PI is also counted among the top five global players in AgChem custom synthesis and manufacturing and has emerged as a frontrunner in biologicals, earning recognition in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for two consecutive years.
The integration of Plant Health Care brings PI a strengthened biologicals technology platform, significantly accelerating product development and broadening its sustainable solutions pipeline. PI AgSciences will anchor the company’s global agriculture strategy from its new headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri—one of the world’s leading ag-innovation clusters and home to a rich scientific ecosystem closely linked to U.S. agricultural markets. The business maintains regional operations across Brazil, Mexico, the U.K., and Spain, alongside a dedicated biologicals R&D center in Seattle, enhancing its geographic breadth and innovation capabilities.
Through PI AgSciences, the company aims to scale science-led solutions that elevate productivity, reduce environmental impact, and meet the rapidly growing demand for sustainable agriculture worldwide. The transition signals PI’s intent to compete at a higher global tier, bringing integrated, next-generation crop technologies to growers and advancing its broader mission of reimagining agricultural systems for a healthier planet.
