IPGA ropes in Parag Gadre as Board Advisor

Parag, with his vast experience as business leader in corporate sector and thought leader in Agri value chain, brings essential subject matter expertise that will prove critical for IPGA.

India Pulses and Grains Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Parag Gadre as Board Advisor for IPGA. His engagement with IPGA is effective 19th June 2023 onwards. 

The time has come to reinvigorate IPGA – India pulses and grain association- as apex body for pulses and grains industry in India with multifaceted futuristic agenda. This encompasses policy advocacy facilitating growth of Agri sector locally and globally, aggregation of fragmented associations and regional bodies, diversification beyond pulses into other grains- for instance millets, dovetailing with government agenda of skill development and modernisation of agri sector, so on and so forth. 

Besides efforts and initiatives of the association this requires Outside-In view with subject matter expertise. Position of Board Advisor brings this to the table. 

Parag, with his vast experience as business leader in corporate sector and thought leader in Agri value chain, brings essential subject matter expertise that will prove critical for IPGA. Parag has previously worked with corporates such as Godrej group, Tata group, Parle Agro, Ruchi soya Ind and – in his last assignment- as CEO ETG group in India. Throughout his tenure he has worked closely with, Government institutions such as ASSOCHAM, FICCI, NAFED, MMTC, PFNDAI, NIN, ICMR, ICCIDD, CFTRI, PM-AASHA Program. He has also been on the managing committee of representative bodies in India ISMA- India salt Manufacturers’ association, PFNDAI – Protein Food and Nutrition development association of India, WQA- Water Quality Association and thus far with India Pulses and Grain Association.
